The new address of R+V Insurance at its headquarters in Wiesbaden is the newly built campus. In close cooperation with the city of Wiesbaden, R+V has implemented a forward-looking entrepreneurial idea and now accommodates the majority of the approximately 4,200 Wiesbaden employees at one location. R+V has upgraded the southeastern district of the city of Wiesbaden with the Raiffeisenplatz. In order to document the architectural achievement in all its complexity, Heisters & Partner, together with the Swiss architectural photographer Michael Rast, created an illustrated book for the opening of the campus, which underlines the idea of the project and explains the significance of the new ensemble in its functions.
Architectural documentation
The focus of the book – in addition to the sustainability of the building complex – is the connection of the existing building with the newly built elements through the Raiffeisenplatz, which was designed as a meeting place for all employees of the insurance group. The book works with the photographer's outstanding images and relates them to testimonials from the most important driving forces behind the construction project. A construction diary at the end of the volume allows the reader to experience the constructive implementation of the plans and to participate in the cooperative insurer's clear commitment to the location.
