Moguntia 1896:
New look for the youth football department

In a pro bono project, Heisters & Partner is supporting the youth sports department of SC Moguntia with a new brand identity. The traditional Mainz club has existed since 1896 and its youth work represents an important building block in the local social environment of our agency. Thanks to the initiative of individual parents and former youth players, the youth department has been revitalized over the last two years and saved from closure.

Corporate Design

While other clubs start sorting players according to their performance in the youth departments at an early stage and send weaker children home from training and the club, this club takes a fundamentally different approach and places social interaction and diversity at the center of its work.

 

Co-Branding

When putting together youth teams, aspects such as friendship, balance and diversity are given more weight than performance or the number of goals scored. The club is therefore very popular and today integrates many children from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds, making it an important, happy and successful social factor in the district. The large number of children who support the club and the good performances confirm this strategy.
