The K+S Financial and Sustainability Report deals with nothing less than the challenge and responsibility that feeding the world's population represents. In the twelve chapters of the image series spread across the two reports, the reader encounters testimonials that reflect their position on responsibility and ensuring food security. The financial report gives a voice to both the miners who explore the raw materials for the production of fertilizers and the farmers and researchers who are involved in food production in the fields. But doctors, trade experts and consumers are also presented in differentiated and sensitively captured stories on the topics of protein supply and growth.
K+S AG Financial Report
The financial and sustainability reports are a forum and sounding board that naturally gives voice to K+S AG and its contribution to feeding humanity, but also allows a variety of voices from outside the company to be heard. This paints a complex and differentiated picture of the challenges, but also of the responsibility, that come with feeding the world's population.

K+S AG Sustainability Report
Heisters & Partner developed the journalistic series together with K+S. The photo team was on the road for a total of four months under the art direction of Heisters & Partner. In addition to being used in the financial and sustainability report, the series was also used in online media and other printed publications from K+S's corporate communications department. The report received numerous international awards.
Niko Schmid-Burgk, one of the most renowned international specialists for authentic staged portrait shots in connection with a spatially defined context, was selected to photograph the testimonials. Niko and his team proved to be an excellent choice, as they managed to combine credible portrait photography with a previously defined content scenario in all twelve motifs.
K+S AG Corporate Image
We had already noticed Niko Schmid-Burgk for his excellent work on Dräger's North American campaign, in which he managed to photograph firefighters, doctors and miners in a completely authentic and credible way as part of a defined advertising presentation. The secret, in addition to Niko's photographic skills, was the authenticity of the situations. The images in the K+S report were all taken at the original locations in Germany, Canada, the USA and Peru.
