Under the motto »Problem solving is our strength,« this report uses seven examples to show the viewer the skills of the building materials company Dyckerhoff AG as a »solution provider« of concrete. The report makes it clear that Dyckerhoff not only produces cement and ready-mixed concrete of the highest quality, but also develops complex solutions together with its customers to overcome challenges. The report uses simple and easy-to-understand examples to show how diverse the products can be used. Awarded numerous prizes, this annual report proves that you don't need big pictures to create confident and value-oriented financial communication. The report, printed on open natural paper, deliberately works with a reduced color spectrum, in which only the corporate color blue is used as a highlight color.

The shades of grey used are used as special colours and guide the design towards a reduced design concept that unfolds its effectiveness in its restraint. The front and back of the title show the volume of the concrete used in the individual project examples using a perspectively enlarged bar graph. The legends refer directly to the page of the report on which the corresponding solution example can be found. Small caps and table numbers optimize the readability of the report in terms of typography. The report was voted the best report in terms of design for its stock market index and received the red dot award, among other accolades.
