Dräger Annual Report:
»125 Years of Dräger, Technology for Life«

The Dräger annual report focuses on the company's 125th anniversary. The punched-out numbers reveal the cover of an inserted booklet that can be pulled out of the cover at the side and uses a timeline to show the most important milestones in the company's history. Under the motto »Reflections,« the report covers the future, present and past of the Lübeck-based global corporation. Three Dräger customers, two doctors and a mine rescuer, share their personal experiences and reflections with the reader, which were decisive moments in their professional lives and which connect them with the Dräger brand. The portraits of the three testimonials impressively convey the timeless dimension of the brand and its lived corporate identity.

Annual Report

Our idea was that the blink of an eye is a period of time in which there is no past and no future. A blink of an eye is the moment that our brain makes appear to us as the present. Nevertheless, it is often a blink of an eye that decides between life and death in medicine or in the rescue of buried victims. In this short and vital period of time, Dräger devices also help to protect and save lives. And these moments have occurred again and again in the history of the company: during anesthesia and ventilation during operations, in the incubator of a premature baby, during a firefighter's rescue operation in a burning house or during the rescue of buried victims underground.

 

Reflections as a motto relates these brief, decisive moments in which people stand up for the lives of others to the company that has been producing technology for life for more than 125 years – from the founding fathers to the present day.
